5 storey and 3 storey apartments

Miller Street development in Point Chevalier will provide a modern 5 floor apartment building with 31 new homes on a 2,087 sqm site that was previously home to just 4 family's in traditional state homes. With the urban planning changes this area is seeing a lot of new developments including a new boutique apartment development planned for this same street.

With easy access to the city, great schools, beach's and the zoo this is a highly desirable area for families to live with a great sense of community.

This project is a Build only civil works and buildings with the project team running 2 concurrent programmes to ensure they meet delivery of this tight programme.

The structure will utilise precast concrete, contrasting detail in the lift shafts, balcony and 5thfloor to add street appeal and ensure the new build blends into the city fringe location.

Despite recent lockdown level 3 and the current level 2 affecting work on site in August/ September the site team and sub-contractors has been pushing the programme to mitigate any potential delays to keep the programme on target. A busy period lays ahead of the site team with a 30% portion of the project that needs to be complete before the Christmas break. Achieving this milestone this will pave the way to a successful due date for completion scheduled for the 1 June 2021 focussing mostly on the interior fitout, hard and soft scape.
