Simon

Simon started his construction career in the UK working on iconic commercial buildings in London such as the famous Gherkin office tower, Citibank’s European headquarters, and Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport.  He then moved to Asia to gain overseas experience working in China, Singapore and Hong Kong.  Working for a large multinational main contractor he was involved in many high rise exclusive residential developments, a high tech office building that achieved outstanding awards in sustainability, and Singapore’s very first modular constructed hotel where all 243 rooms were fully completed in China before being shipped to Singapore and erected in 26 days.  Having spent 15 years in Asia, Simon moved to Auckland in 2017 and has been building several high-end apartment developments around the city.

Simon has managed multidisciplinary design teams working on large scale design and build projects, he has achieved awards for sustainable construction including the Singapore Green Mark Platinum, USA LEED Gold and Hong Kong Beam, and has a strong technical and management background together with extensive experience in the design and delivery of bespoke facades such as fully unitised glazed curtain walls, precast cladding and residential suites.  Simon has gained an in-depth knowledge of the local construction market and the consenting process with Auckland Council.
