Mates Connector Programme
Mates in Construction recently ran their Connector training programme which several of our senior staff attended. Good Mental Health and suicide prevention are an important part of our staff wellness programme so ensuring our staff are qualified to offer appropriate support is vital to this process.
All staff are inducted so make them aware of their responsibilities for “looking after their mates” with connector training offered to senior staff that are in leadership roles. We appreciate the work that Mates do to support our industry and getting involved is critical to reducing the high suicide numbers construction in NZ currently has.
