World Masters Success

Wednesday, May 17, 2017

Rudy Hlawatsch from Land Partners competed in the orientating section of the World Masters Games for the 8th time last week, and we couldn’t be prouder of him.

Over the course of ten days Rudy was in 5 events, including sprint and long distance races. Back at work this week he said it was the toughest of all the Masters he has been in – Woodhill Forest was re mapped for the event and there was definitely no home town advantage!

With over 1,700 athletes in the orienteering section from 40 countries it was truly an international event. He was grateful for the fantastic weather Auckland put on, except the last day of competition which was his long distance final out at Woodhill. He looked very smart in his Land Partners polo and jacket which he wore proudly in his non competing time.

Rudy said he was grateful for all the support and time off from the wider team of Property Partners “no company has ever made me feel this special and I have only been here a few months”
